Everything about who we are, how we handle your data, and the terms of using our service.
NOGUI is a digital health tool built to help people understand how they consume content online. We believe that the quality of your attention defines the quality of your experience — and that most people have never seen a mirror that shows them their digital behavior clearly.
We are not a social network, a content platform, or a wellness app. We are an analytical layer — a tool that takes your own data and gives it back to you in a way that is honest, specific, and actionable.
NOGUI was founded in Sydney, Australia. Our mission is to become the first multi-platform Digital Health Index — a single score that reflects how intentionally you consume across all your digital platforms.
Your DHI is a behavioral snapshot based on data from the files you uploaded. The result is generated from patterns found in your own data and a model designed to interpret those patterns — not a diagnosis, not a judgment, and not a measure of your character, intelligence, or mental health.
The DHI is not a medical diagnosis, psychological assessment, or clinical recommendation. A low DHI score indicates patterns worth examining based on your own data — not a condition requiring clinical intervention. If you have concerns about your relationship with technology or your mental health, we encourage you to speak with a qualified professional.
When you use the NOGUI analyzer, your .json file is processed entirely within your browser. It never leaves your device. Only the calculated behavioral scores travel to our servers to generate your diagnosis — never your original file.
When you request a full diagnosis, we collect your name, email address, and the calculated behavioral scores derived from your data (your DHI score, session patterns, and engagement metrics). We do not store your raw data file under any circumstances. When you submit a form (Curator application or Content Nomination), we collect the information you voluntarily provide.
We do not collect your raw social media data. We do not sell your information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes. Your original .json file is never transmitted to our servers.
Your name and email are used to send you your diagnosis and NOGUI communications you have opted into. Your behavioral scores are used to generate your diagnosis and improve the NOGUI model anonymously. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing contact@nogui.me.
NOGUI uses Supabase (data storage), Resend (email delivery), and Anthropic Claude (AI analysis). Each operates under its own privacy policy. Your data is not shared beyond what is necessary to deliver the service.
In accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at contact@nogui.me.
NOGUI provides a Digital Health Index (DHI) based on behavioral patterns in your digital consumption. The DHI is an analytical tool — it is not a medical diagnosis, psychological assessment, or clinical recommendation. If you have concerns about your mental health or digital wellbeing, please consult a qualified professional.
You retain full ownership of your data. By submitting your name and email, you consent to receiving your diagnosis and NOGUI communications. You may unsubscribe at any time by emailing contact@nogui.me.

NOGUI uses descriptive language to characterize digital consumption patterns found in your uploaded data. All terms below are behavioral metaphors derived from pattern analysis — they describe what your data shows, not medical conditions, psychological diagnoses, or moral judgments.
Describes a consumption pattern where behavioral data indicates very high compulsive usage, late-night sessions, and minimal intentional signals. It is a description of a pattern in your data — not an assessment of your willpower, intelligence, or mental health.
Refers to content transitions occurring in under 10 seconds, indicating that content is being passed without conscious evaluation. It is a speed measurement from your data — not a character judgment.
Sessions where 50 or more items were consumed without a 30-minute break. This is a count derived from timestamps in your data — not a clinical diagnosis of addictive behavior.
A metaphor for the effect certain content types have on the nervous system based on research into stress responses and attention. NOGUI does not measure biological signals — this term describes a classification in our content model.
Refers to content in the D quadrant of the FEAA framework — low informational value with high biological cost. This describes the content, not the person consuming it. Context and purpose always matter.
