Conscious
You know what you consume even if you don't always choose it. A reasonable mix of intention and habit.

Automatic
The algorithm decides more than you do. High volume, low retention. Autopilot dominates your sessions.

Saturated
Too much noise, too little signal. The system overwhelms you. Content drains more than it nourishes.

Hijacked
